The Identity Raman spectroscopy microplate reader from Digilab (Marlborough, MA) uses either 532 nm or 785 nm laser sources and a spectrometer to automatically obtain Raman emission from liquid samples in various plate formats, with minimal or no sample preparation. The plate reader can be used with 96- or 384-well microtiter plates, glass slides, or an optional tablet holder; with a 96-well plate, it measures and analyzes samples in under 5 min. Additional features include a notebook computer with pre-loaded software, an adapter plate for powder samples, and a line cord.
