The ORCA-Flash4.0 V2 scientific CMOS camera for fluorescence imaging applications from Hamamatsu (Bridgewater, NJ) offers 82% peak quantum efficiency (QE). While read noise at standard scan is 1.6 e- rms (1.0 electrons median), the camera features an additional slow scan readout mode with read noise of 1.4 e- rms for low-light imaging (0.8 electrons median). Its Camera Link interface can be read out in one sweep across the sensor from top to bottom or bottom to top using the company's Lightsheet Readout Mode.
