Tunable light sources for bioimaging, spectroscopy by Brimrose

The TLS 300 tunable light sources consist of a white light source, an AOTF device, beam-forming optics, and an AOTF driver.

The TLS 300 tunable light sources from Brimrose (Sparks, MD) consist of a white light source, an acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) device, beam-forming optics, and an AOTF driver. The light sources are able to switch wavelengths within 20 µs or pump multifrequency RF power to the AOTF to get multi-lines simultaneously. Three models of the light source are available, with one operating from 500 to 700 nm, another from 650 nm to 1 µm, and a third from 900 nm to 1.6 µm. Applications for the light sources include fluorescence spectroscopy, as well as normal, fluorescence, and Raman time-resolved spectral imaging in the biomedical industry.
