The Imaging Photon Camera from Photonis (Roden, Netherlands) is a single-photon counting camera that has utility in fast imaging under low-light conditions, such as in time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) techniques like fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM). Features include micrometer resolution, picosecond timing, a full 18 mm wide field of view, and a count rate as high as 5 MHz with no added read noise. The camera can be customized at the time of order to spectrally match the microchannel plate (MCP)-based detector to the application requirements.
