The FDA has cleared Capillus' (Miami, FL) low-level laser therapy (LLLT) Capillus caps for treating androgenetic alopecia in both men and women, which can be used at home.

The Capillus laser therapy caps for treating male and female hair loss feature 272 red laser diodes.

The company also manufactures three mobile laser caps for personal use: Capillus272 Pro, Capillus202, and Capillus82. With 272 red (650 nm) low-level laser diodes, each laser cap allows laser hair restoration on patients' own schedules without having to visit a physician's office.
