Solid-state arc lamp replacement
The SPECTRA light engine provides seven discrete solid-state outputs that span the complete visible spectrum from 380 to 680 nm, making it a true arc lamp replacement. Features include increased power per band for each channel, streamlined design, full electronic control of intensity, and a dosimeter option. Suitable applications include high content screening, live cell imaging, digital histology, gene expression analysis, and other challenging applications in labs and instrumentation.

Soft tissue probe for in vivo imaging
The VivoSight Multi-Beam optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging system allows in vivo imaging of oral and gynecological tissue. It provides sub-surface cross-sectional images at 7.5 µm lateral resolution, surpassing ultrasound, CT, MRI, and confocal microscopy. The probe is 9 cm long and provides both 2D and 3D images over a 5 × 5 mm area. For sterile applications, the probe is used with a disposable transparent sheath that covers the probe, handle, and upper connecting cable.

Optically pumped semiconductor lasers
Sapphire 532 nm (green) optically pumped semiconductor lasers (OPSL) are available with either 200- or 300-mW output, both providing a high-quality TEM00 output beam characterized by low noise (0.25% rms). With compact packaging at 125 × 70 × 34 mm and low power consumption, the Sapphire 532 lasers come available in 460-, 488-, 514-, 561-, and 568-nm wavelengths. Because the OPSL has a short upper state lifetime that naturally eliminates green noise completely without additional measures, such as complex single longitudinal mode operation, the Sapphire 532 lasers suit DNA sequencing, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and high-throughput drug discovery.

Piezo scanning/nanomanipulation system
The P-563.3CD PIMars stage is a piezo flexure-guided scanning/nanomanipulation system that enables precision motion control with resolution in the sub-nanometer realm and 340 × 340 × 340 µm travel in XYZ. Integrated, direct-measuring capacitance sensors and digital closed-loop control boost linearity by up to three orders of magnitude over conventional piezo stages.
