A new multidiscussion system for Axio Scope and Axio Imager light microscopes from Carl Zeiss (Thornwood, NY) enables up to 21 individuals to view the same microscope image field at the same time. All observers can view the image generated under the microscope with an identical image orientation in a 23 mm field of view, making it suitable for assessing difficult specimens in medical diagnostics. Every configuration can be implemented with standard stages, and there is no required expense for special stages. Configuration in either a straight line or in as many right angles as needed is also possible. Each tube is supported by its own column in its center of gravity, making the system extremely stable.
