Transportable Raman analyzer by BaySpec

BaySpec Agility Raman analyzer

The Agility Raman analyzer from BaySpec (San Jose, CA) offers a dual-band option, and employs a wavelength-customizable Volume Phase Grating (VPG) as the spectral dispersion element. An optimally cooled detector array (532/785 nm CCD or 1064 nm InGaAs) serves as the detection element; the dispersive 1064 nm excitation option allows for reduced fluorescence interference and higher prediction accuracy. The company's Agility2020 software enables adding new substances to the library or interface with third-party libraries.

PRESS RELEASE

AGILITYTM RAMAN ANALYZER

The AgilityTM is the world’s first transportable Raman Analyzer to offer a dual-band option.  The AgilityTM Series employ a highly efficient Volume Phase Grating (VPG®) as the spectral dispersion element, customizable to any wavelength range, and an optimally cooled scientific grade detector array (532/785nm CCD or 1064nm InGaAs) as the detection element. Choices of auto-aligned sampling accessories are available: vial holder, pill holder, direct focus and fiber optic.  A simplified user interface is allows for basic users to easily verify sample ID, automate background subtraction and baseline correction, set integration times and configure user libraries.  BaySpec’s unique dispersive 1064nm excitation option allows for reduced fluorescence interference and higher prediction accuracy.  BaySpec’s Agility2020 software allows users to easily add new substances to the library or interface with 3rd party libraries.  Security is enhanced through 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
