PicoQuant honors trio with Young Investigator Award during Single Molecule Spectroscopy & Imaging conference

FEBRUARY 26, 2009--The Young Investigators Award, a competition for scientists ages 35 and younger, typically offers a cash prize of $750. But this year, the abundance of high-quality entries "made it impossible to pick a single winner," says PicoQuant GmbH (Berlin, Germany), which has funded the contest since 2007. In the end, PicoQuant increased the award amount to $1125, which was distributed equally among three winners:
