Candela's new fractional CO2 aesthetic laser promises benefits for practitioners, patients

FEBRUARY 16, 2009--Candela Corp. (Wayland, MA) says its new QuadraLASE fractional aesthetic laser system provides new revenue streams for practitioners with improved performance, versatility, and value in a single instrument. The device combines the performance of a CO2 laser with a scanning system, giving clinicians a "total solution" for skin rejuvenation and tightening by treating wrinkles, uneven tone and texture, sun damage, acne scarring, skin tags, benign lesions, and more. Candela will begin global sales and marketing by launching it at the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology (San Francisco, CA, March 6-10) and begin shipping next month.
